Holiday Basketball Sessions

Edinburgh Basketball Development Camp

Camp Dates: Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th July

  1. We will make players better by focusing on teaching and improvement

  2. Our coach has 20+ years of coaching junior elite athletes & 13 years of senior coaching experience in the Big V Championship and NBL1

  3. At least one coach per 10 players

  4. Players will go through several focused and intense skills sessions

  5. Suitable for all players Grade 5 to Year 8, intermediate to advanced players looking to take the next step in their basketball development. This will be a great camp for those who want to make the school academy team, considering the representative basketball pathway, or those who want to make higher teams by teaching the how and why of each covered subject.

  6. Our camp will focus on Ball Handling, Footwork, Shooting, Passing, and individual offensive and defensive skills. We will also be teaching offensive concepts and team defensive principles.

  7. The camp is strictly limited numbers get in early

  8. Camp dates are Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th July, 8.30 am to 12.30 pm at Edinburgh College School Gym

  9. Cost $130 per person.

Further Important information

  1. All camp participants are required to bring their own snacks and water bottles. Our Facility has a water fountain to refill bottles. Given the level of activity taking place across the session, we encourage all participants to bring plenty of healthy food. We request that you take into consideration the potential for other participants suffering from food allergies.

  2. Please bring a Basketball with your name clearly marked on the ball. Wear a reversible training singlet or light and dark-coloured T-shirt and non-marking basketball shoes.

  3. All camp participants must be collected by a parent/guardian after the session. Children will not be permitted to leave the venue without a parent/guardian.

  4. Parents/guardians are allowed to stay and watch but it is not essential.

  5. Please advise Edinburgh Basketball Academy administration of any medical conditions, allergies, or other important information, including medical plans where required.
